Although this model ended almost 20 years ago, there are still plenty of us that remember this SUV very well and expect that some new Bronco will be available once again. This legendary SUV was produced from 1966 to 1996 and during this period, it made through five distinct generations. It was replaced by Expedition which had characteristics that were much more suitable for the market in middle 90’s. However, times have changed and nowadays Ford has more than enough reasons to release this kind of vehicle. Possibility for comeback is big and according to rumors, company will probably release new model as 2017 Ford Bronco during 2016, celebrating 50 years of its launch.
2017 Ford Bronco design
Since last Bronco was produced in 1996, it is worthless to make some comparison between that and new model. There are not too many details about 2017 Bronco, but if we put them together with some rumors, we can make some decent picture of new model. It is expected that new model will adopt many solutions from Ford’s Atlas Concept, which was used as a base for new F-150 pickup. This concept car introduced some new technologies that company will use for future SUV models. 2017 Ford Bronco will come with new body, which will be made of extra light materials such as aluminum and HSS, so new model will definitely be able to compete new Wrangler, which is expected to come in same period. When it is about car’s look, it will get modern, muscular body, but also with some details such as round headlights, which will refer on original model. On the other side, interior is expected to be much more car-like with plenty of luxurious features.
However, this all is just a rumor. This SUV probably won’t come on the market before 2020. Read abpout luxury cars for 2018.
