The Pathfinder is a one of the most popular models from this Japanese manufacturer. The 2016 Nissan Pathfinder will remain pretty much unchanged under the hood. It will be powered by proven 3.5 liter V6 engine, which outputs 260 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be mated to company’s advanced Continuously variable transmission. Beside standard petrol variant, 2016 Pathfinder will be available in hybrid variant too. This version came last year and it combines 2.5 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 15 kW electric motor with lithium-ion battery placed under third row of seats. Compared to petrol-model’s 27/20 (highway/city) mpg, fuel consumption is far better.
