The outside look of new version won’t be too much different from current model. It will keep its classic look, but it will get some new details which will make it look more aggressive and more modern. Just like previous models, 2016 Colorado diesel will be available in two body styles – extended cab and crew cab. Both variants are capable for five passengers, but in the base WT version, rear seats are removable, so you can get an extra luggage room. The 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel will come with 17-inch alloy wheels and it will feature many details like new corner steps, a two tire loading system and also 13 tie-down locations. Also, 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel will be available EZ lift, a spray in bed liner and lower tailgate.
2016 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel – new engine
This truck has always been known for its great performances, and new model will have even better. Beside two standard petrol engines (2.5 liter four-cylinder which makes 193 horses and 184 lb-ft and 3.6 V6 with 302 hp and 270 lb-ft), 2016 Chevrolet Colorado will be available with new, more advanced, diesel engine. It is a 2.8 liter Duramax engine which delivers around 200 horses and 368 lb-ft and, beside excellent performances, you should expect also much better economy, compared to petrol variants.

Although it is not confirmed yet, we expect to see 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel somewhere in the second half of 2015. New variant will definitely cost more than petrol models, but it is still unknown how many dollars more you will have to pay for a diesel.
