Ford Transit was launched in the market as a replacement for the Ford E-series. Ford E-series will be withdrawn after 2014 years and Transit will be his replacement. Transit matches the new “One Ford” strategy which all models is supposed to be global. The 2015 Ford Transit has the new V6 engines that are supposed to replace truck V8 and V10 engines from the E-Series. While Transit currently sold in over 100 countries across the globe, America is brand new and should represent rivals vehicles such as the Mercedes Sprinter and Ram Promaster.
2015 Ford Transit redesign
The design of the 2015 Ford Transit follows the famous Ford’s Kinetic school and buyers will be able to get in three different versions. The basic model in the class of 1500 is not too much higher in comparison with the model that replaced, but if you decide to get a 3500 model you will get 75% more space. Ford will also offer two different versions as a passenger and worker out. Passenger version will be able to embarrass as many as 15 passengers. That’s three more passengers compared to the Sprinter while Promaster can be obtained only in the working version. The strongest form, the Transit is also able to pull 3,375 pounds and to transport cargo weighs up to 2.1 tons.
Great progress was made in the interior and the 2015 model Transit can get a leather seat, a camera in the rear part of the vehicle and MyFord Touch system, which controls all control electronics. Unlike the rest of the world where the Transit is available in versions with front, rear or 4×4, the U.S. version will have a drive to the rear wheels only. The 2015 Ford Transit with a combination of well-equipped interior, economy and space has a great chance of success.
