Built by Ford Australia, this mid-size crossover SUV came in 2004. It was the first SUV made by this Australian division and during these ten years, it became one of the most popular models in Australia, outselling even models such as Falcon. This model made through several modifications and the latest one was just recently. New, 2015 Ford Territory comes with some visual changes, compared to previous model and it is expected that this variant will prolong this SUV’s life probably until 2016, when the end of production is expected.
2015 Ford Territory exterior and interior changes
The 2015 Ford Territory comes with changes both outside and inside the car. As it is expected, most of the exterior changes will be on the front end. Refreshed model will get slightly restyled, a slimline upper grille with some new chrome details and slightly modified fog lights. Some new-designed alloy wheels will be offered too. When it is about interior changes, 2015 Territory will feature the same 8-inch touch screen, but it will get an upgraded Ford-Microsoft joint venture infotainment system, expanded voice control, new Sync 2 connectivity system, improved navigation system etc. It is also worth to mention that base TX model now features a reverse-view camera and front sensors. On the other side, third row of seats comes as an option in all trim levels.
2015 Ford Territory engines
The engine line-up will remain unchanged. The 2015 Ford Territory will be available both in diesel and petrol variants. Diesel unit is the same 2.7 liter turbocharged engine, borrowed from Land Rover Discovery and also used for some Peugeot and Citroen models. On the other side, petrol unit is the same 4.0 liter with 261 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of max torque. This engine is now compliant to Euro4 emission standard, but sad thing about it is that once again won’t be offered with all-wheel-drive. On the other side, diesel variant of 2015 Territory is available both as RWD and AWD models.

One of the greatest changes is definitely a price drop. The base 2015 Ford Territory now costs 36.990 dollars, which is 3000 dollars less than last-year model.
