At this year’s Geneva Motor Show Citroen has unveiled its new city car labeled C1. This model is a direct competitor to the Peugeot 108, which was introduced at the same time. The first generation of C1 was a solid success for the French manufacturer with over 760,000 copies sold since 2005, and the new model 2015 Citroen C1 is expected to continue the success of the class that is growing rapidly in the European market.
2015 Citroen C1 redesign
Specification of model 2015 C1 says that this model is only 3.46 meters long while the width is 1.62 meters. With the design side, 2015 Citroen C1 follows the company’s new design school which started earlier with two C4 models (Picasso and Cactus), in comparison with its predecessor provides a much higher premium design with LED headlights and the lights of 3D cloud.
New Citroen C1 will be available as a hatchback versions with three and five doors, as well as “Airscape” version with a canvas roof. Under the hood is a 1.0L I3 engine, which develops 68 hp and emits just 88 g / km.
