To show you how the previous generation of Chrysler 200 was a bad car, it might be best if you compare it with the competition. At first glance, the figure of 122.480 vehicles sold in the just completed 2013 may not sound bad, but then you have to look at who is behind the model 2014 Chrysler 200, there is a Volkswagen Passat with 109.652 units sold, followed by 2014 Chrysler 200’s twin Dodge Avenger with 93.842 vehicles, and at the bottom of the list are two products whose sales start mid-year-Mazda 6 (43.638) and Subaru Legacy (42.291). Compared with the class leaders the Toyota Camry, 2014 Chrysler 200 lags almost four times, and even compared to the best-selling domestic car (Ford Fusion), said sales were three times less.
That brings us to this year’s Auto Show in Detroit, where Chrysler unveiled the new model 2015 Chrysler 200, as the first complete product developed in cooperation with Fiat (previously debuted and Dodge Dart, but it shares a platform with the Alfa Romeo Guilietta).

Many lines of 2015 Chrysler 200 are transferred directly from Dart, particularly in the form of headlights and masks, while for the rear Chrysler says that the inspiration was his legendary pre-war models, but can be seen and a great similarity with the much acclaimed Maserati GranTurismo.
