The fourth generation of Clio won his racing version. The car is the work of Renault’s sports department and delivered to customers with FIA certified, fully equipped for racing competitions. The successor to the Renault Clio Cup in 2006. based on a model of the Clio RS, which debuted 2012th at the Paris Motor Show. Unlike the sports version which is designed for everyday use, racing 2014 Renault Clio Cup is equipped with special aerodynamic accessories, while the interior is completely stripped. Additional aerodynamic wing, which is above the standard spoiler at the end of the roof, providing 40 kg traction force (the “downforce”) at a speed of 193 km / h.

2014 Renault Clio Cup engine
The famous 1.6-liter turbo-petrol engine was upgraded to develop 161 kW / 219 hp and maximum torque of 270 Nm. The engine is connected to a six-speed sequential gearbox factory Sadev, which allows you to change gear in just 100 milliseconds. In addition to the standard lever, the manufacturer offers options with which the speed can be changed by using the controls on the steering wheel.
